Morfydd’s work responds to the fragility of the landscape and pressures placed upon it. The continuous cycle of the seasons and dynamics of climate and weather assert their own pressures. These unknown variables impact upon our own lives – we remain at the mercy of climatic events. Morfydd monitors the cycle and rhythm of the seasons and through continuous recording and researching she interrogates the uncertainty and influences of both climate and weather and their effect upon the landscape.

An ongoing project of Morfydd's concentrates on the impact that climate, weather and human impact has upon the landscape in the county of Ceredigion, Mid Wales. A series of work from this research concentrates on the Vale of Cwymswyth and will be shown at MOMA Machynlleth in 2018
